"Dragon Dice 300 Pound Grand Champion 10,000 Or More 98% Complete"

300 Pound Grand Champion? Does this mean the collection or the seller?

Ha Ha Ha

That's a only the tip of the iceberg. He has D&D book 1 - 10!!!! All only for a thousand dollars, what a steal. Not to mention the various slurpee cups he's selling for 999.99 a piece. Great with any generic D&D purchase! Lol

I noticed that one recently.  I'm not sure what it is, but there seems to be a lot of it.  So I guess that's good.

Holy crap, it sold for 4 grand! Now I'm wondering what all that originally cost...

It did not sell. Looks like there was a reserve of $9800.00, according to the Answers section of the listing.

I almost hit the BIN on this seller's U1, but then I saw the interior pic.  But hey, at least there was a pic.  And I think the prices have been modified since this listing was originally posted . . . .

Yeah, when I first posted this, it was "D&D Book One" for $99...

Am I missing something? How did this end up so high? Did three shill bidders descend up on each other for a shill storm? 8O

That's nuts.  I bought a set of complete unused 1st print PC/NPC/Perm sheets within the last couple years and I doubt I paid more than $50-60 for the group.

EDIT: Found the transaction in my records.  Early 2009, $49 for the group.  Anyway, yes, unused copies of character sheets are tough to find, as they were meant to be written on, but they clearly printed TONS of these.  Dunno, maybe the market has changed in the last couple years and availability has dried up now (but I doubt it).

I would figure $15-$20 TOPS!

and, then look at this one in shrink, where the shrink has a tear/ bend in the corner :!:  :?:  For $140!! I think it was orig listed at $159 OBO

I guess we need to add the 1981 AD&D character record sheets to the Rares category now

...and this print is also the more easy to find in shrink. Easier than the earlier wizard logo versions. I would definitively not buy this one for more than $25 !
An Ebay seller and member here sold several very first print with the purple cover/wizard logo in shrink in pristine condition for $60 a few months ago, the second print with pink cover/wizard logo was priced $40 if IIRC. I bought one each of them, the first version beeing quite HTF in this condition. As you said, the one you mentioned is definitively out of range  :!:

A very few buyers (members here :?: , question often asked but never answered of course) buy many and many SW modules on Ebay, even if it is far beyond usual prices. They do not seem to have limits, or very high limits, even for common modules. It is an excellent opportunity for sellers when this buyers spot their auctions.
Two possibilities then : this buyers don't want to wait and/or money avaibility is not their problem, or they collect as many SW copies as possible. I wonder if one day a member will post in the "complete" thread showing a picture with twenty SW copies of the same item. This might exist among collectors.
Personaly, I have two sealed copies of a few modules, just because I bought a few years ago one that was not in mint condition, then got a better one later. And now I just have to sale the one in lower condition.

I should list mine.  It's not sealed, but mint and unused... Wow!
