Although the second movie with the current Bond had a clunky plotline, Daniel Craig's portrayal comes the closest to the character created by Ian Fleming.Originally, I didn't like Judy Dench as M, but her portrayal as a ruthless technocrat who uses Bond with complete cynicism is chilling and realistic.Badmike: You even like Bond films like Moonraker, Octopussy or View to a Kill? Jury members reacted hard against defense attacks on the motives and credibility of police and prosecutors. I wonder if Italians from other parts of the country are humiliated or outraged about this verdict. Are they embarrassed that this trial took place at all? There aren't really enough words like "preposterous," "ludicrous," or "shameful" to describe how this makes the Italian court system look to the rest of the world.
