I have a pack of the orange 1977 sheets that identify out according to The Acaeum page as second printing and a yellow/buff colored pack that are the 1979 printing.

The 1977 pack has the "* TM Reg applied for" on both the cover sheet and character sheets, as well as the 1977 copyright. The 1979 sheets have the circle R on both the cover and the sheets, but also indicate a copyright date of 1977.

Thanks all that info definitely helps. So we're talking about the '79 character sheets in that auction and not the '77.

Dude more (and better) pictures would be a good idea.

One blurry shot of just part of the box top is not nearly enough for a high value high profile rarity like yours.

If you do not have a digital camera and cannot find one to borrow, you could mail the set to me I will take all the pictures you could ever want...

Not all of your collectors/bidders will even know about or know how to find that link for more pictures.

The photos appear to be from the Woodgrain I sold Bombadil(sp?) a while back

The ,ink works, assuming the dang .net extentsion stays in the URL.

depending on my browser, sometimes it either drops the .net or it changes it to .com which is wired and then of course it won't work...

then if I manually type it in the URL field it works... I have the .net extensions !

I'm using Google Chrome and it does not seem to work with either the link or manually typing in the url; however, if you add the final '/', I get a directory:
