First off, I wasn't drinking. I save that for the chat tonight!

Second, I have not trolled ebay in months. So I figured I'd just grab on to some things that were either off the beaten path or interesting.
And John, I know you were secretly hoping no one would catch that Making of the Dungeons & Dragon Movie auction. Admit it....

I thought this was sold previously, but maybe the seller had a reserve on it or something. I remember his Deities and Demigods went for big $$

It is on my watch list. I asked and there are 17 pages left.

A really close look at the scan shows that there is the "R" in a circle after "Dungeons and Dragons", so that would make it a 1979 print run.  The 1977 ones have "* TM Reg applied for"

I don't own any of these sheets so I don't have anything to compare to, but maybe someone can chime in here. The photo of the sheets at the bottom have a copyright date of 1977. Did the 1979 version still have sheets inside with the 1977 copyright date?

My copy has 1977 on both the cover and sheets, circle-R on the cover, but TM-applied-for on the sheets.

I've not seen one like that.  Maybe you have a printing that is yet undiscovered.

I have a pack of the orange 1977 sheets that identify out according to The Acaeum page as second printing and a yellow/buff colored pack that are the 1979 printing.

The 1977 pack has the "* TM Reg applied for" on both the cover sheet and character sheets, as well as the 1977 copyright. The 1979 sheets have the circle R on both the cover and the sheets, but also indicate a copyright date of 1977.

Some scans might help, too:
