May he meant $7.50  :?

Maybe the buyer viewed our website, decided the price was too much, and bailed.

Notice it's been re-listed here:

Note the red endpapers of the MM. In popular mythology, these indicate an early print which must be valuable. It was only a couple of years ago that the existence of red-endpaper 1979 printings was acknowledged on the Acaeum.

Rediculously priced POOR 8th print Greyhawk Supplement for $84.95 BIN.

Shipping is low cost though... 8)

Seller also has a 6th print Eldritch also poor condition for under $60, a 7th print GD&H for under $64.95  and an average condition Rules Cyclopedia for just shy of $110...

And a whole crap load of bad portraits in oil starting at 99 cents each.

I think I have seen this one before.

Same seller has a LOT of other high dollar BINs for RPG items.

I do not think any I looked at were worth the BIN... but this one is simply ludicrous.

Oh I know D&D Minis are worth some cash, but, this is just insane and I'd be shocked if the seller actually gets paid.

Not explicitly, but the word "new" implies it.

EDIT: Pardon me, most of the items are described as "like new in shrinkwrap". Whole different thing.

So sorry for the use of "like new" or "like Mint condition"

I am not absolutley sure how to describe new condition in 2012 when they were new in the 70's & 80's

Could anyone please help me to determine how they should be described?

These modules are original shrink wrap from the 70's & 80's. My father purchased them in the mid 80's from a store closing that sold TSR.

Thanks,
Mike

I must be missing something. These aren't worth 1/10th of that.

The real bidding seems to have stopped at about $55 and then 2 zero feedback shills took over.

That would explain it. I didn't look at the bid history.

Most likely someone is screwing over the seller. There is no point having two shills bid against each other that high when you only need one to drive the bidding up on a legit bidder. The fact they are both 0 feedback bidders, I bet they are new accounts and being used to mess over the seller.  He'll be out the Ebay fees for at least two weeks.

This HAS to be some sort of joke by the seller...

Or perhaps mistakenly priced?

A roughed up copy of S1, Green Cover...

Starting price of $666, with BIN of $999.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tomb-Horrors-S1-Advanced-Dungeons-and-Dragons-/270918521430?pt=US_Fiction_Books&hash=item3f14009256

Seller even listed the Acaeum in the description...  :?

I rated my copy above the cited rate at http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpages/s.html

Also has Paladin in Hell listed with the same numbers.

Probably required of him to use "666" to gain entry to his favorite cult...
