Rodgers has been insane, and I don't think we've seen the best of him. Loved his comments after the Falcons game about being in the zone and it being a "fun" win.

Packers - Jets!

By comparison, both the Bears and Steelers look plodding. Steelers o-line has got to be of concern to them.

I honestly don't know how the Steelers are winning these games. Looked to me like the Ravens pretty much beat themselves with bad turnovers, bad play calling, and Flacco's inability to throw a football for much of the game. Ben Rapemoreburger is probably my most hated QB right now after Tom "Hair" Brady.

Packers and Bears have never met in the playoffs during the modern era (since the superbowl was started), and haven't met in the playoffs since the 40's. Talk about some great history there! Hope the game lives up to the hype.

A Jets/Bears superbowl would be fun, the Bears having last won in 86 and the Jets in 69, some long suffering fans there. Plus the added attraction of not having to see dumb ass cheeseheads invade the DFW area for the next three weeks..... :cry:

Right on, Mike. I was at the Eagles-Packers wild card game, and didn't see many Packers fans. Those that made it to the game were occupied mainly with trying to put out fires on the hoods of their cars. I'm sure they'd be treated better in Dallas, though.

I don't know if I can take another Steelers appearance, much less victory, in a superbowl. They're already calling themselves "Sevensburgers".

The Packers\Bears game could become one of the greatest games of the century sofar. I think the Packers have an advantage with the QB comparison but that is it. Two good defences will go at it.

The Jets/Steelers game could also be a fantastic game. Everybody hates the Jets (except Alan - he's British what the hell does he know). So you kind of have to root for the Steelers. Whoever wins this game loses the Superbowl to the Packers - wins the Superbowl against the Bears.

Ugh. Nothing worse than the Steelers lofting a trophy in the Cowboys house. :cry:

There are a ton of Packers fans down here....they are mostly bearable....except when they stick the cheeseheads on...then as far as I'm concerned it'll be hunting season in Big D in February! As long as no NFC east teams/fans make it here, I think the atmosphere will be pretty enjoyable. If the Eagles/Giants/Redskins had made the superbowl, and the fans traveled here to whoop it up at the Cowboys expense, there would have been blood in the streets.....

i will be very happy if they turn over the steelers tbh...one step at a time. think thats gonna be a hard enough game in itself.

ummm excuse me mr britt. i know plenty about american football thankyou very much and can hold my side in a convo about it anyday

personally, i think we can beat the steelers again, but think we will lose to the packers anyway - they are on a real damn roll and think they will win the superbowl anyway (after beating chicago of course).

I think the Steelers are gonna kill them. But then again, Pitt is not what it was a few years ago, either.
I have not seen New England play that way since they lost to the Giants in the Superbowl. They just seem to do that every once in a while.
And the Packers are not all that either. Don't diss the Bears in the cold. Rogers is playing out his mind right now, but one hit and it is all over for the Pack.

Don't discount the Steelers.

In predicting football games the first question to ask is, "What happened last time?"

Much as I hate the idea, it's looking like the Steelers could be Super Bowl favorites.

Much as I would enjoy Steelers fans having to deal with a Super Bowl loss, I think that if they get into the big game they'll win it.

With neither team fielding a great offense, it'll come down to turnovers between the Jets and Steelers. I'm hoping it's the Steelers who fumble it all away.

(I lingered over the eagles' loss to Green Bay, watching the post-game show and every agonizing interview. I had to savor the tears of philadelphia fans. Oh...so painful...so wonderfully painful for them! :twisted: )

I read a newspaper article that the Vegas odds-on favorite is actually Green Bay. I agree. One reason is that the least favorite according to Vegas is Chicago, which I would guess means that Green Bay has the easiest path to the Super Bowl which may be part of the Vegas analysis. Whatever. The Falcons have lost. Boo hoo. :cry:
