Compare the woodie above with the current $200 bid for this OCE white box set.

If it is the woodie, just let her know it is a very sound collectable investment.
I think the price that set sold for was VERY low even for this economy.

A good question!  :D   I thought it was a pretty good price you got it for - considering that older sets often have boxes that are more damaged (e.g. with a broken box corner), or are missing ref sheets, or have more writing in the booklets.  Rare as these sets are, it is rarer still to see sets that are without those kinds of battle scars.  Plus you could turn around and sell it in a week (or a year) for the same if you needed.

good point, at the moment i have no reply for your question... but i have a hint: the solution like "i bought smtg you wont understand for nearly 900 bucks which is worth more than 1000 bucks" doesnt work! do not use it!!!

[Spoiler - if you go with that, the answer will be: "well since you can gain more than 100 bucks, just sell it immediately!"]

Nice. :)

Probably why it is in such good shape. Didn't even read to page 5 of Men and Magic.

Another cheaper one has shown up but not in as good condition.

- Then check his other auctions and see what's left. The seller has listed (and is still posting) several TSR items in Shrink, for $9.99 BIN each. They're going fast!No one seems to want Pharoah, yet.

The seller just switched his remaining ad&d items to Auction format. I suppose he either screwed up to begin with or realized his error. He just posted Tsojcanth with a $9.99 starting bid and a BIN of $29.99. Item #
** expired/removed eBay auction **
. I see he's got a lot of Polyhedron's at $9.99 BIN. Looks like he got a hold of a bunch of stuff and didn't really understand the market. Didn't I hear that WotC just cleared out their archives and gave a bunch of stuff to employees?

Hey guys just jumping in. Long time lurker, was going to get into this war, but I see some issues. I have contacted the seller.

It says he is from the UK and it is shipping from Santa Monica? He only has 1 feedback and I am a little scared to pursue a Woody with
and unknown seller.

Thank you,

JB

Is Red Sonja any good? I don't have a copy and it always seems to be quite pricey.  :D

Not particularly good, but fairly rare and titillating...
