I thought the show/evening was good overall.  I got the feeling that Matt and Meredith were doing the Macy's Day parade once they got to the parade of nations, but Bob Costas had good commentary.  I liked the queen skydiving into the stadium and Rowan Atkinson's antics/"race."  I was not that impressed with the whole internet teen-scene chapter.  Paul McCartney definitely showed his age almost causing me to watch with one eye/ear.  He gave it his best, and that was a lot.

Clearly the show was smaller in scale than the Chinese show.  It went primarily for humor instead of grand presentations.  And, although no one said this, I wondered if Danny Boyle was thinking, "Well, we may not have the budget or the size, but we've got history and culture."  Or a cruder way of phrasing that would be, it's not the size of the ship but the motion of the ocean.  

I didn't like it at all. Thought it was far, far too busy, and as my wife said, "It looked like a ceremony formed by a committee whose main job was to not offend anyone by leaving them out".  I couldn't make heads nor tales of most of the bits, and the commentary was cringe-worthy. I bet it was much better in person, all the flailing about with the camera (motion sickness inducing) and the inane presentation of the commentary wouldn't have been present.  Then again I usually tune out for most larger, over the top presentations like this (superbowl halftime show, etc)  because they annoy me with their over the top production, pomp and circumstance....so I'm obviously not the target audience.

I should have also added that the shots of the queen in the stadium needed subtitles or emoticons or something to help translate her expressions, or lack thereof.  I'm sure there are people who knew she was really happy (wasn't she?), but I could not tell if she was pleased or just constipated.  Maybe I just need to give her a break.  She's old and seen just about everything, so no need for her to get excited.  Consistency also has its merits.

If this is a one time only thing, I would sell them in a lot.

If you want to maximize your profit and you don't mind waiting, I would do them all separately.

Offer them in the Classifieds here or at Dragonsfoot first to save on fees, you'd be surprised.
