Oh and look what else he's selling.

I wondered how long it would take them to show up.  So, since they're now outed, what are folks' thoughts on the condition vs. the price?  The R2 seems way overpriced to me, given that it's got highlighting, but the R1 interior is in decent shape, but the cover's pretty beat up.

Interesting...

Back in the early '80s, somebody got the autographs of me and Jim Ward, as well as two RPGA execs (Mary Kirchoff and Kimber Eastland), on two AD&D books. Probably happened at an RPGA meeting in Milwaukee. Mary's autog is pretty rare, and KimE's almost as much.

fwiw. Items are a bit rough. Links:

Looks like serian is in with the second bid in less than three hours after your post.  Dagnabit!

LB

p.s.  Then Gnat bids with less than five hours to go.  How many Acaeum members will bid on this?  Who will win?  Will it go for more than the other one sitting at $25 and no bids?

Hey LB,

I was surprised at the ending price for the book.
US$23.60.

I guess it was the condition that didn't prompt a lot of bidding.

I held off on it as I was purchasing some rule books.

Best regards,
Ronald

Lot of shrink modules. They have that annoying notch cut into them (I believe retailers do that when they plan to return the item as unsold, not sure). Either way it is an interesting lot :P

Hey nevcoup,

Nice find! Too bad no international shipping on them. :(

Best regards,
Ronald

Thanks :P

It looks like there are a couple of 10th anniversary combo packs worth of modules.
What I cannot figure out is whether there are any actual unopened combo packs. :?:

The difference between a few bucks per module and several hundred dollars for the lot is some shrinkwrap and a piece of yellow paper.  I love it.

Never seen these before. Seller is going to remove the matches before shipping so the auction is really for an empty matchbook cover.

There was one that sold last Oct 2011 for $54 from seller mutantegggames in IL, which had matches intact (seller mentioned "maybe all of them")

I suppose the winner of this auction could obtain another old book of matches from an antiques shop, to replace them. Would be nice to know what the original matches look like however (white heads, red?). Altogether the seller is being a little uptight.

Compare the woodie above with the current $200 bid for this OCE white box set.
