Oh, it's used all right. The horrors! I can understand using them as intended and cutting them up, but what's with the outlining?

I recently won a copy for cheap and the seller never shipped the item nor reply to my PM or to ebay/paypal...

I think that it would be the same there.... The seller would not ship the box. Finally, there is nothing to do if the seller doesn't accept the transaction.

I have to ask, then... Why does the seller still have 100% feedback? In my opinion, you should have negged him so other buyers would know about it..

Indeed. Did you do a chargeback at least? People like that need to be outed.

yes it has.

I recon it's not a bad deal... just it's a BAAAAD dry market right now.

It's off by a bit.

Especially since a 2nd print woodgrain at Gencon went for ... $1300 (yeah I forgot already... sorry...).

Even if you price in the five extra books (generously) at $300, it should be around $1300 - $1600 (total).

Thoughts / opinions welcome.

You certainly know better than I... I'm still a noob with the pricing/grading.

For $1300 I would figure out a way to come up with the money.

I will... But I am still hoping that he encountered some trouble and was not able to ship the item and to reply to my emails (and to ebay/Paypal emails) or something like that. I am still waiting for 1-2 weeks then I will neg' him I think. Am I too naive?

Unfortunately, yes. His attention to detail on every other auction means he is unhappy with the final sale price.

That's probably a reasonable good buy now.  With one of the latest ones selling for $3000 in shrink.  It seems like it is now priced to sell.
