I'd like to get the prices some of his stuff is selling for. Check out the sale prices under his feedback. His pace isn't far from mine, but he's certainly getting better buck for the bang.

A "Best Offer" option might work a treat there, IMHO: you may not be that terribly far off. ;)

Hey Disco,

I'm disappointed it's not part of your usual .99 starting deal

Best regards,

Seems a very high price considering the marking all over the pages?

WOWSERS!

I offered my 2nd print woodie here last year (a few months ago) which has NM books and Reference Sheets with VF Box and could not get any offers even close to that much.

Doesn't actually state 3rd print in the auction as far as I can see. :)

Sometimes asking high does work, though - ~$320 for RPGA2, say;

Picture shows a correction sheet, so either 2nd or 3rd is probable.

Either way, with a set in that condition, that price is probably deserving of being posted here.

Has anyone heard of a 2nd/3rd in that condition being sold for $2000 before?

Or even half that amount?

To be honest, I hope someone does buy it at that price.  8)

BTW: I do not think that $320 for a nice looking RPGA 2 Module is out of line at all and that one looks pretty nice.

Late 1sts are also likely to have correction sheets.

Large label on the box, regardless of any comments 'bout hybrids... The books aren't early first or late first prints (the U&WA's a give-away even with that tiny auction image), the only query being that the color balance makes the books look redder than they should be - i.e. making 3rds look more like 2nds.
The 1975(?) date gets a smile, anyhow.

> BTW: I do not think that $320 for a nice looking RPGA 2 Module is out of line at all and that one looks pretty nice.

I can see a few faults on the image (tiny, once again), so that's still torwads the high-end I'd've thought compared with the last few sales on open auction, unless I'm missing some data...?

> Has anyone heard of a 2nd/3rd in that condition being sold for $2000 before?

Erm, no. ;)
1st prints with fewer "issues" went for a third of that price not so many years ago. The addition of a "best offer" option would've been good to see yet again, I think!

Did think this was perhaps about $75 too high but very happy with it and have my own rating of VF for its condition, just a few creases that make it not NM.

I picked up my 3rd printing woodgrain which is F / VF for $875 which I thought was quite a good price

So, just to set everyone records straight, NO expert box set was sold for 200 euros (be sure I regret it   )

I had been looking for a shrink Expert set for ages and did not want to let this one get away so put in a high bid early on, not expecting someone to actually exceed that! But as theshield2000 says, the other bidder put in EUR750 instead of EUR75 in error! theshield2000 was very good in re-offering it to me at EUR75 which I thought was a good price.

Seller states authenticated that was Once owned by Tim Kask, supposedly the first copy that came out of the first box from the printers.

Even so...

At least that one is clearly a typo.

Read again...?

"Pulled from the 1st box of the 1st edition, 1st printing by Timothy Kask himself for one of this two personal copies."

Knowing where the other copy is (nice inscription, thank you, Tim) and that there are a few small cover blemishes it's safe to presume that's a stock image. On a $995 listing. :)

Either that or Tim pulled out one from the first box for his personal use, then another for a file copy. *jk*
