Merry Christmas all!  I was just thinking I've been up north in my hometown for a week now and all we've had is a little dusting of snow with fairly mild weather.  The snow was a couple feet deep out in the countryside where I had to go hunt down a tree though.

That is pretty cool. This may also explain why intelligent swords always seem a bit off.

Deffinitely cool - like the music that went with it as well.

So, the Seattle Seahawks are the first team to reach the NFL playoffs with a losing record (over teams such as the Buccs and Giants).  They even get to host a home playoff game!  I hope the Saints hang half a hundo on them to make the game a joke.

That was one of the worst NFL games I have ever seen.  Both offenses were pretty awful, but the Seahawks definitely put forth the better effort.  Sam Bradford had a few good moments but his receivers made too many dumb mistakes.  And was it just me or did Charlie Whitehurst remind you of Babe Laufenberg?  Only a bit better?

I'm just glad the 49'ers arent representing the NFC West in the playoffs...that would be an unforgivable joke.

The ass clown of the Seahawks/Rams debacle was the St. Louis offensive coordinator.

He has one star-quality player:  Steven Jackson.

When he pounds the football the Seahawks are weak and unable to stop it.

Soooo, Jackson finishes the game with nine carries on a night when he should have had 30....and the Rams literally throw the game away.

Stupid on so many levels.

As a person forced to watch Seahawks games because of geography, I hate it that the Seahawks made the playoffs.  Experience shows that this will mean yet another off-season in which the Seahawks fail to address their fundamental team problems.

That said....I started hating the Saints one minute after they won the Super Bowl.  ( :puker: "A team gives hope to an entire city" :pukel: )  Having the Saints lose to the Seahawks would annoy so many people that I hope it happens.

And - here's a message of hope for New Orleans:  "We hope you move your city to somewhere above sea level."

The decisions by the 49ers the last few years have made the clueless decisions by the Cowboys the last few years look genius, starting with drafting Crabtree and the QB shuffle over there. Singletary was an awful coach and was fired far too late. I wouldn't be surprised if they (along with the Browns and Panthers) weren't on the phone to Jason Garrett this morning.

But yeh, the best bad team won last night. None of the Seahawks should have been celebrating, they should have immediately run off the field into the locker room and started figuring out how they were going to keep the Saints under 7 TDs next week....
