Last summer, I ordered some t-shirts from the Judges Guild storefront at Cafepress (IIRC).  They were the Tegel Manor and Wilderlands shirts that JG has set up.  Both are really nice, heavy t-shirts.

I ordered the Tegal Manor one with the organic cotton shirt option. I think it's an unbleached cotton shirt.  It comes as a light beige, and it sure is soft.  You might add that to the list of t-shirt options.

Ok, I added the organic Ts to CafePress, at Zazzle you don't have to add all the products since you can select different shirts to put the logo on... so they may already have an organic T

Ok, it's confirmed

We have the conference room until 1800 Sunday evening June 7th, so we can have another gaming session from 1200-1800 Sunday...

Mike, that allows more games on the schedule...

I'll update the website in a bit

Random badge idea:  will the badges include folks' Acaeum and/or eBay usernames?  It would be nice to be able to connect names with handles, if possible.

Already all over that, Gro!

They will have your name, your "handle", and what site you frequent (Acaeum, Dragonsfoot, etc). If you are a member of multiple sites, we'll probably go with Acaeum if it's one of them.

BTW, just saw the T-shirts and banner today. Wow.  Jason Braun, I tip my cap.  The logo is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!  And it looks great on the white shirt; haven't seen one on a black T yet but I bet it looks great.  I'm going to end up buying a bunch of these babies!!!

If you think you might be running a game (or, if I have already commanded you to do so   ), pretty soon I'm going to be asking specifcs such as subject matter, system, length of game, etc so I can get a handle on what everyone is running prior to having attendees sign up.

Ok, just noticed that Zazzle has a 10.4% off "tax savings" promotion through Wednesday:

Tax Day Special   -   10.40% OFF ALL ORDERS   -   Ends Wednesday   Use code: TAXDAYZAZZLE (details)

Also, through June 29, 2009 you can use the code: SPRINGZAZZLE to save $5.00 of any order over $45.00 (I don't think you can use both codes, but you can use this one after Wednesday)

The store there is: http://www.zazzle.com/ntrpgcon

Due to my house being almost an hour away from the hotel I was thinking of getting a room.  But before I did I wanted to see if anyone that already has a room wanted to share and split the expenses?  PM me if interested.  Thanks!

Well, it was just related to me by the guy in charge of getting all the old schoolers in the US down to Texas in June (Doug) that we have another (and probably our final) big guest:

ROB KUNTZ has been signed up to come to the first annual North Texas RPG con!

If you don't know who Rob is, check your old school credentials in and walk away from the table. Rob is one of the founding fathers of D&D, co-dm with EGG of the original Castle Greyhawk, and creator of quite a few goodies himself (Maze of Zayene, City of Brass, etc).  He is also the creative force behind Pied Piper Publishing http://pied-piper-publishing.com/ which has released a lot of old school goodness such as Bottle City, and recently, El Raja Key's Arcane Treasury, The Stalk, and Daemonic and Arcane!

Rob will be running at least one game there....from what he told Doug, he wants a LONG timeslot and the game is so involved it may go all weekend!!!  Maybe we can squeeze him in for a seven hour slot Friday night.....?

We are extremely excited to have Rob with us for the NTRPG Con.

This is totally off the wall, but if anyone wants to, they can bring along a boxed set or three and run it through our shrink-wrap machine at Reaper during the tour. Might be a nice way to preserve a boxed set you don't plan to open in the next few years.

Just throwing that out there for anyone interested. :-)

Well, looks like I may be able to make it :)

Being rather cheap and currently only partially employed is there any one that could help me out with an airport pickup or shared accomodation or something :D

I am told by a rather reliable source(my wife in fact) that the taxis are outrageous and the airport is not in town.

PS:  I am deathly alergic to cats and dogs :?

I can provide you all Airport transportation, plus you can bunk in my room at the hotel (double queen beds, + I don't snore)!  Whatever it takes to get you here!  :D

PS: I don't own any pets, so I shouldn't have anything on me.

Blackmoor:

There is info posted on the site about flights etc, including who is staying at the hotel, who has a room mate or who plans to not share a room:

http://ntrpgcon.com/flightinfo.html

http://ntrpgcon.com/hotelusers.html

and with Gus making the comment he'll be at the hotel (which he didn't sign up for in the registration, I'll get him added to the page)

If you are coming, be sure to fill out the registration form.

Once we hit 50, all "late" registrations may have Con restrictions based off the fact that 50 is our limit (ie: fire code or hotel rules may not allow more people in the room, the Bus on Sat won't hold more etc.. so people after 50 might have to "fend for themselves" in some instances) We'll do our best to help everyone, but it's turned out a bit larger than expected (which is good news for next year)

I have room in my shed....and I don't let my two dogs or one cat inside!  You'll be safe!

If you are flying in DFW, The airport is five min away from my house and the hotel is maybe two minutes farther).  If Gus can't get you I can.
If the airport is Love Field yeh that's about 20 min away, but still not much of a problem. Gus can get you in that case   Taxis are quite ridiculous. I charge a Wee Warriors module both ways, so I'm worse.

All kidding aside it will be good to have you Jeff!  Remember to sign up on the web site.  We are approaching 50 registered and there will be a cut off after 50. You can still register, but you won't get "full privileges". So if anyone is on the fence I'd advise you to sign up now.....we are up to 43 as of this morning.

Yeah, sorry. I wasn't sure until yesterday that I would stay in the hotel.  I just booked my room this morning. :-)

A couple of things:

Today Doug added a forum to the NTRPG website.  You can post anything you want if you have registered, it will be a place to announce games, look for roommates or rides, discuss con related stuff, etc.

http://ntrpgcon.com/ceilidh/ceilidh.html

Also, we are now taking money for the raffle. Tickets are $5, and there is a paypal link on the website.  Some of the items you do not have to be present to win, including the Dragon #1. Since we hope to have the entire convention on online video (we'll get the website up later) the drawings will be live. You can buy as many tickets as you want; there are enough items that you have a very good chance of winning something, whether it be that, or the Strategic Reviews 1-7, the Jason Braun-drawn character portraits, copy of the Tim Kask module, some of the Rob Kuntz items, etc. Plus the money helps offset the con costs.

Yay. Just bought some raffle tickets. :) Hope to win something. How do we know which ticket(s) are ours?

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

When I get the payment, I pull the tickets off the roll, write your real name & handle on the back of the tickets, then I put them in the "hat" and send you an email with your list of ticket numbers

You should have that info by now.
