Haven't been online much lately but did make the time to buy my raffle tickets today.  It would be fine with me if no one else wants to buy any, as so far I have won a lot of cool stuff from the Con raffle, including an Upper Works boxed set and the grand prize for this year - a free trip to the Con.  So the fewer of you folks that buy raffle tickets, the better my chances.

If you ignore my wishes and buy tickets anyway, don't be discouraged if you click on the paypal Raffle button and find it takes you nowhere.  There is another raffle button below it and that one works just dandy.

See ya'll at the Con!

If I included any of the following in this year's NTRPG con auction, would anyone bid on them?  Or should I hold them back?  I have a unique opportunity here to put some nice collectibles in so just curious:

D&D Brown box set NM condition with letter from Richard Tatum stating the provenance from Steve Jackson UK

Sept 1975 Games Workshop No. 8 newsletter introducing D&D

RPGA Black Opal Eye NM

Quest for Golden Orb Origins '84 one of fifty

Up the Garden Path ST1 NM

Lost Caverns of Tsojconth tournament EX

Panzerfaust #63 1974 D&D intro (from Dave Arneson's collection certificate authenticity from Paul Stormberg)

El Conquistador Vol 1 & 2 EGG Greyhawk fiction and D&D article (from Dave Arneson's collection certificate authenticity from Paul Stormberg)

D&D Maure Castle: Chambers of Antiques (signed by Rob Kuntz certificate authenticity from Paul Stormberg)

If I get several thumbs up on an item or two (indicating you will be there and bid on the item) I will heavily consider including it.....

I'm interested in Black Opal Eye.  Not sure I will have the funds to follow through with a decent bid though.  I guess I could get my money back on those Pacesetter items I just paid for.  Then I might have some extra cash to throw around.

By the way, I'll be putting a couple of items in the auction.  Swordbearer box set (excellent condition) by Fantasy Games Unlimited and a Tunnels & Trolls set.  I have two and just need to decide which one to sell.  I have a UK box set (orange and black, digest size books; in excellent condition) and a US box set (black and gold; in excellent condition).  Ken St. Andre, Rick Loomis and Dennis Sustare are going to be there.  Winners can get them to sign them or cut off a few pieces of hair to put in them....whatever floats your boat (just hurry, Dennis doesnt have much hair left).

Mike, if the Brown Box and the Golden Orb are in the auction, I will definitely bid on both. I'd be interested in the GW newsletter and the El Conq's as well...

I understand stratochamp is planning on building an addition to his house, and is thinking about using woodgrains for the foundation . . . .

I'll bid as well just to keep Larry and Darryl honest. ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

Based on the bidding for the Greyhawk Reference Sheets last year, I think they're well capable of keeping each other honest.

I don't think we've allowed this in the past, because we usually want the money immediately, but I'll ask Doug.
