Is Dungeon Invaders worth actually using? My munchkin has been getting very interested in minifigs and terrain, but I'd prefer not to deshrink mine if it is merely a collectible.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

I'd say it is not. It's small scale 15mm? And more of a diorama. Very lightweight plastic. If I remember correctly

Howdy Jason,

Actually, it is 25mm. The diorama is fine but the miniatures are really horrible. They come in two parts and fit together poorly. The good news is, all of the figures come from Grenadier's original AD&D metal figures from the Solid Gold line, except the black dragon IIRC. What I did was dress up the terrain really nice, adding moss, rocks, trees, etc. and then used metal miniatures with the diorama .

I have been working on it for an AD&D scenario for the next Gary Con.

That sounds promising, Paul, and easier to transport than the Moathouse set-up :D

I'm confused by this.  Character classes were not left out and are in fact in the Players Handbook.  :?

Drifting off-topic . . .

The three core rulebooks are only the first three core rulebooks.  Every frikkin' DMGx, PHBx, and MMx is a core rulebook.

Wikipedia says
Unlike previous editions with just 3 core rulebooks, 4th edition Core Rules includes multiple Player's Handbooks (PHB), Dungeon Master's Guides, and Monster Manuals that are being released yearly, with each new book becoming a part of the core. They will include core classes, races, monsters, powers, feats, paragon paths and epic destinies not present in the first PHB and Monster Manual.[12]

[12] So, one of the things that I thought a lot about when I was first putting together the outline for this book... this is not the core Monster Manual.... So, there are some monsters that I very intentionally left out of this book so that when they appear in Monster Manual II, that will help communicate, "Hey, look, this is a core Monster Manual." You don't have frost giants if you don't have Monster Manual N". At the 1:57 mark, or 1:38 of chapter 2. Dave Noonan, Mike Mearls, and James Wyatt "Episode 16: Monsters, Monsters, Monsters!" There's an L3 along with other modules from the Silver Anniversary set in this lot. One odd thing I see with some of the other modules is that there looks like a number written in ink on some of the module covers.

I like the line "everyone you see is complete."  My emphasis.  We wouldn't want any partial people for sale, now would we?  Although I'm sure we've all met people who weren't completely present.
