Any reason this particular combo pack is not listed here on the Acaeum?

Edit:  Answered my own question by reading the page fully, this is one of the "missing" not yet identified combos.

I remember this particular combo pack. My original T1 module, which I still have, came from one of these sets, purchased from KB toys. I had the rest of the modules so I gave them to a friend for his birthday.

I can only assume because there is no verification on the printing, nor what the box cover looks like?

This line:

"Also have wood grain box (brown) do not know if it is original box for D & D Volumes 1, 2, 3 or not."

plus no good picture of the box itself, scared me off

Uh... it /is/ a first print, as was known five minutes after the auction started - variant U&WA cover as linked and confirmed by the seller. The box is one of those "caught" in that 74/75 window; correct horizontal grain for the 1st print but without labels for one of at least two possible reasons (/not/ a pre-pub) and the backstory fits perfectly.

Seller comms haven't exactly been brilliant due to their primary machine failing but that's hardly the best reason in the world to fluff a sale. :?

$105 with fair competition. Not quite "fallen off the edge of a cliff", price-wise. ;)

Did rather think that was a pretty one. :)

If I know my E-Bay hidden IDs, I think that is Pipswich with the single bid winner.

Yep, yep.  Seems a good buy, in spite of condition.  Hope I still think so when it arrives!

Wow!  I have to check my records - I swear I paid only about $20 for mine.

Here is the big collectors trove auction. I especially like the original castle greyhawk players map.

And people laughed at me for spending $70.00 on my near mint copy at Gencon this year...

Sorry, I seemed to have missed that opportunity: may I bank it for next year? ;)
