Sweet Elric piece!
8)
I think the early MTG guys (TSR as well obv) had something "special" that is lost now. Primarily the fun which is largely absent from fantasy art in general these days...

Agreed  :(

You know, I was thinking with all this cool art you have, you should resurrect the "stump the forum" thread and see who can name that module/book first.  :)

Cool idea! I have a batch of art being shipped here later in the week and I'll do that

Is it what's written on the sword handle?   :?:

Beeyootiful collection Tharizdun, I really appreciate you taking the time to post all this wonderful Artwork. You must be very proud of you collection.
I must have spent about two hours browsing this posting. :D

The Fred Fields cigarette butt and ring tab hidden in the painting made me laugh! I dig artists with a sense of humour.

Yes Ben, it's not a sword handle though (I think it's a street sign).

Thanks Atom! It's fun. Fred said he wanted to see what he could get away with. It's funny cause my GF liked that one the most but then when I pointed those out to her it made her not like it anymore. I like that sort of thing myself! It's one that's going to another collector though so good for my GF :) It's easy to get started ala your new Holloway piece. Next thing you know you have all sorts of artworks everywhere if you're not careful  I have a lot more to post! This is all stuff I bought awhile ago... It's like you're 6 months - 1 year behind when it comes to the art and paying it off and waiting for delivery... patience is important.
Another thing is that I'm lucky geographically to live next to a lot of TSR artists. I'm in walking distance from one of the staff guys and I hang out with Baxa quite a bit and more artists are local or live here part of the year (like Brom) and I have a good relationship with those guys.

Indeed it is! I knew it was something strange, but couldn't figure out what.
