It is a common false myth that you can copy something and then change it slightly to avoid breach of copyright, you cannot. Nor is it covered under fair use, or fan fiction.

I wasn't suggesting that this was legal, just that it could be an alternate explanation.

Could be. Would hope they were pads of colour coded TSR copies, as this would increase their value.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

A lot of 3.0 duplicates, and most of the stuff looks slightly warped in some way. By looking at the pictures, it looked like he was selling this stuff out of the trunk of his car...   :(

And I'm sure he could cut his cost by sending it through the post office instead of UPS. UPS always seems to be higher to ship than the post office.

Just a quick count:

25 Hardback books
52 Softcover books
7 Boxes sets
10 Magazines
1 Monstrous Compendium (frame)
4 Misc items (2 Waterdeep sets of maps?, 1 Planescape set, and something else I forgot...)

And postage to the UK is $850....ouch :(

That's return flights with Virgin Atlantic a hotel room for a weekend, meals, and the extra bagage one way. Seems fair to me.

A bit strange.   :?    On the positive side it was shipped quickly and was in excellent condition.  :)

For anyone looking for IQ2 Forbidden Ground that comes with (and is part of) Issue #43 of Inquest magazine, Troll and Toad seems to have a few copies:

It only really seems to be somewhat sought after since it is listed on the TSR Archive website:

Auction states without inserts, does that mean the module?

Good spot.  That would mean the little booklet is not included.  Although most of the module for the first two IQ series are actually inside the magazines.

I understand the first few issues of WD were reprinted (due to demand I'd presume?)... at least issues 1-5, I'm not sure about 6+.

I think #1, #2, and #3 had two reprintings each.
