It was working fine Wednesday evening and Thursday morning before I got to the office ~ 8:30 AM Central Time.
Sometime later Thursday (after dinner?) I noticed it crashed.

It also crashed on Friday, and I remember this specifically because I was at my mom's nursing where there is just nota whole lot to do, but they do have wi-fi.
And I was fiddling with my own forum via ProBoards and its app.

Apps do not crash very often on my gadgets, so when they do it's usually just a symptom of having too many open.
I will try to fish out the app history on my iPhone and ipad.
It's a strange little mystery.

... See that post ^^
That quote block resulted from my editing my post.
That's bizarre.

No, you missed the "edit" button and hit the "quote" button instead.  :)  I've done it several times myself now (usually on other people's posts; I go to quote them and edit their post instead, which is hilarious).

I am going to separate those buttons so this doesn't happen.

That's what happens when I drink and post.
I'd better stick to drinking ...

That's true, and it's annoying me too.  :)  I will look at putting a link at the bottom.

Fixed! :)

ForumRunner is working on iPhone and iPad this morning.

iPad screen capture below.

This could more helpful than I first realized because these apps link directly to the photos on iPhone.
So I can take a pic witht he phone and immediately post it to a forum without having to insert a URL or do the photobucket gymnastics.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I don't (think) I did anything to fix it.  Perhaps some temporary problem on ForumRunner's end?  Everybody please keep on top of it and let me know if the problem crops up again!

This started today:

When viewing a thread, the following appears at the top of the screen. When it does, any post which contains a quoted post is displayed as [quote=""] and then nothing. The "" is the name of the individual being quoted.

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions_acronym.php on line 61: preg_replace_callback() [function.preg-replace-callback]: Unknown modifier ')'
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 4718: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/includes/functions.php:3854)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 4720: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/includes/functions.php:3854)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 4721: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/includes/functions.php:3854)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 4722: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/includes/functions.php:3854)

I had thought there was, perhaps, a change to requiring being logged in to view but this happens when logged in as well.

Sorry... just me fighting with the acronym mod.  :(  It blows up with any use of a forward slash, so nice acronyms like "j/k", "n/m", "O/T", etc can't be used.

Anyone here able to debug a line of PHP to fix the filter?  :)

TheHistorian wrote:After trying it for a few days, I think I agree with Ian on this one.  Most forums do just send a notification of a PM (and usually the subject line), but it was a nice feature here to see the message, as I pass back and forth more PMs here than all the other forums I visit combined.  Would it be possible to implement this as a selectable option?  I promise I never have nor will do either of the two things you mention as issues.   :D

The FIRST person who replies to the notification e-mail shall be banned ONE YEAR!  NO SOUP!

Feature has been enabled by default, and is switchable via your UCP / Board Preferences / Edit posting defaults.  Enjoy.

Classifieds forum has been modified to allow you to respond to your own post (just not anyone else's).

Q/aside: Does the thread auto-delete at 90 days from the first or last post, in such cases?

Sneaky... it will prune 90 days from the last post.

If you're trying to update to a blocked e-mail domain (yahoo, etc), PM the address you're trying to change it to, and I'll do it manually.
