I sent a Paypal payment to you on July 31st.

Did you receive it?

Tim, thanks for running the game! it was great playing with many of the usual acaeum crew, plus we had Mike (mdr) from Australia join us. we almost got to the finish line, and like most things Tim is coming up with lately, it was quite original.

Shipping Delay
Sorry, all of you that have paid. I promised to have them out by today; they will get out this weekend.

My friendly local post office did not have anywhere near enough Priority Mail envelopes on hand yesterday, and I am still trying to find an easier way to stiffen all of these that does not involve my having to wield a razor knife on a bunch of sheets of unoffending posterboard.

As I computer-print all the PayPal orders, I hope to have them all in the hands of the USPS by the end of the weekend.

And, I'm a little toasted from GenCon.

For those still owing on your reservations, this gives you a chance to get square up and get yours around the same time.

No problem Tim.  I'm sure it's worth the wait.  :D

UPDATE

I am experimenting with various methods of fulfillment (as I will probably be doing a bunch of that for EE). For an item of this type, even in the heavy-gauge Priority envelope, I worry about the plastic spiral binding. To that end, I went out and bought a bunch of sheets if 3/16 foamboard that I now have to cut down into stiffeners. I need a guillotine-style paper cutter; if I wait until Monday I can save 20% with my Star Teacher Appreciation discount, so that's what I am doing.

Order fulfillment is and will be a big concern of EE; we want to get it right. Bear with me, please.[/i]

Jason Zavoda and Jon Hershberger are both experts on packaging, probably along with a lot of others here. That spiral binding is an interesting problem to solve; usually the issue is with protecting corners (which the foamboard would already do just as well or even better than the cardboard people use).

Castle of Glass Ships

All but two of the paid-for copies went out today by USPS Priority Mail. Two payees got e-mails asking for mailing addresses and will go out as soon as I have them.

Five people that asked for reservations but have not paid will get PM's from me today.

Still have few left...

Hey Tim,

Received mine today.

The USPS envelope was damaged, the module itself is fine.
But some of the plastic rings were damaged so I'll at getting that replaced.

Thank you very much for making it available to those of us who didn't get out to Gen Con.

Best regards,
Ronald

I am really sorry to hear of the damage; yours so far has been the only one. If I ship to Hong Kong again, I will try something different for you.
