Hiya,

I think this would be better titled "We're All Excited - What Shall We Do Next?!?!"

My thoughts are that of the commit-teeeee (Wheeltappers and Shunters anyone?) should get together a list of artists for a vote on here, then contact the 5 or so that get the most votes and find out how much they charge (for a piece of art, not reading bedtime stories :roll:

).

Would be a way forward, and give a gauge as to which artists are actually the most popular (and thus most likely to sell).

Only one choice... I chose Brom, but will be very interested in a Easley of Holloway too.

I voted Roslof. I'd be in for a Dee, (Tim) Truman, Holloway, or a handful of others not listed. EDIT: Willingham would be okay too

Unlike most here, it seems, I wouldn't be interested in a Beauvais, Brom, Easley, or Elmore.

EDIT: I'm not intimately familiar with the Trampier situation. He still doesn't want to be found, no? Getting him to do a piece would be quite a coup.

I voted Easley, but would probably be equally happy with Clyde Caldwell, Tim Truman, Bill Willingham, or Jim Holloway.

My understanding is that Trampier is 100% unavailable and uninterested. Perhaps if we got a big fund together, we could lure him back, but I think even getting past the initial contact stage would require some pretty high-powered diplomacy (as well as phenomenal luck)

And we gotta do it quick, that'll bring back your collectors, put all your forum members on a payin' basis. But it's not gonna be pleasant. I value my neck a lot more than three thousand bucks, chief. I'll find him for three, but I'll catch him, and kill him, for ten. But you've gotta make up your minds. If you want your limited edition print, then ante up. If you want to play it cheap, buy a poster off of ebay. I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates, there's just too many committees on this forum. Ten thousand dollars for me by myself.
