I'm in a league with a team that is 9 out of 10.  I can't seem to ever move up in the waivers process, and never got a good free agent as a result. Don't know what the formula was but I never seemed to benefit no matter how bad I was all year.

Edit:  The Lions just scored a TD to go ahead of the Rodgers-less Packers.  If the Lions somehow win, and Rodgers is out for awhile, change that to "Packer's Playoff Chances: Done"

Well the packers need the Vikings to beat the Giants, then themselves to do the same to have a wildcard shot.  Course the Bears could still lose and give the Packers another chance in the final game, but it's all slim chances.

They played a good team.

Remember that the Bears got the stuffing beat out of them earlier this season by.....yes.....the Seahawks...at Soldier Field.

There isn't a dominant team in the NFL this season.  What we are watching is the collecting of almost random statistics influenced by injuries and coach firings.

No one seemed able to remember that the Jets' winning streak was really just a lucky streak....the same as rolling 7 six times in a row.

Erase two bizarre fumbles and the Cowboys could be in the playoff hunt.  Keep Romo from getting hurt and the Cowboys could be leading their division.

Cincinnati would be just a couple games out of the playoffs if they were in the NFC West...maybe even leading the division.

Green Bay would be heading for the playoffs without any problem if their quarterback hadn't gotten hurt.

People forget that the Falcons have trailed late in a number of games and have been winning by picking up a straight on the last turn of the cards.

The list goes on.  Any team that makes the playoffs, aside from the Seahawks, has a legitimate chance go the the Super Bowl.  

That's a far cry from the old days when the playoffs were used to determine (for instance) whether the Vikings, Cowboys or Rams would go to the Super Bowl.  Or, later, which NFC team would crush the Broncos or Bills.  Or, whether the Super Bowl would be won in a route by Dallas or SanFrancisco.  Or, who the Steelers would beat.

In the current atmosphere, the only team really playing dominant ball at the end of the year seems to be New England.  Given that this is a familiar story from the Patriots, they would seem to be the Super Bowl favorite by something like 2 to 1.

That's what happened to Chicago.

I would like to welcome the Ladies of Pain into the Championship rounds, went from 5 straight losses to get to 4th place!

Matt Ryan, please eat your Wheaties today.

Boy, the Acaeum league is going to come down to the wire. In the Championship game, the Minotaurs are up by 8 but both teams have one player to come - the Ladies have Matt Ryan at QB, and the cows have the enigmatic DeSean Jackson.

I expect Ryan will post a healthy number today, and it will all come down to DJax tomorrow. I'm guessing he'll need maybe 15 against the Vikings to get the Minotaurs the win. Good luck Jo!

In the Luddite league it's a bit lopsided. After squeezing into the playoffs by 0.4 points and upsetting the #1 seed Cubes in the 1st round, Badmike's Shrews are playing PaulKM's Puguglies for the trophy. And te Uglies played strong and won a deserved championship. Well done Paul - well played, sir. Well played indeed.
