I know of some that don't like him coming back here.  Not his play, but the shit that went on during his time as a Viking.
It shall be great to see Moss/Rice/Peterson/Favre all together later in the season, but the Packers will take them down.

OK, so Brady apparently didn't want to get rid of Moss. Belicheat didn't want to get rid of Moss. Management says they loved Moss.  Moss leaves the Pats with so few WRs they have to trade for Deion Branch (who has done zero after leaving New England). But everyone involved says they love Moss.

I don't get it, something fishy here. Anyway, he is already paying dividends with the Packers, Percy Harvin should have a monster year with Moss across from him, and he'll improve Favre.  That is, unless Bret doesn't stop throwing balls to the other team....

1. Change in coach....obviously this team has a lot of great talent....a lot of commentators picked them to go to the superbowl.  They had been underperforming all year, it took a change of coach to get them movtivated. Garrett changed a few small things (full pads practice all week for the first time this season, two extra hours practice, some tweaks to the game plan) that either he hadn't been given permission to do or felt needed to be done.  Seemed to have done the trick.  

2. Kitna's not a horrible QB, but he hadn't started a game in two years. It took three games to get back into the swing, and he had a great game. (300+ yds, 3 TDs, 1 meaningless pick). If you notice Witten was a non factor in the passing game this week, they held him back to block and it helped the immobile Kitna immensely.  

3. The Giants were missing Steve Smith at WR, who has been a Cowboy killer the last few years. He averages 100+ yds and a TD vs us.

4.  Classic trap game for the Giants. Riding high after five wins in a row, home game to a team they had beaten and taken out of the season by taking out their QB, they were clearly over confident and paid for it.  The Giants really beat themselves with some sloppy plays.

5.  Typically Cowboys/Giants contests are close anyway, hell the first game this season the Giants only won by a TD even after knocking out Romo.  

6.  Mentally the Giants were out to lunch. I think this was the first game all year a team had more penalty yards than the Cowboys, and a team that never gets turnovers (#31 in the league) got three of them.  Two penalties directly took the Giants out of scoring position.....something the Cowboys have been doing all year.  It's like the teams switched uniforms before the game started.

I bet the Cowboys would cover (14 pts???? Give me a break) although I did think the Giants would win in a close one.  If you look at Giants/Cowboys matchups over the years, Eli is only 7-6 vs the Cowboys and the score is usually close....kind of the "throw the records out the window" sort of thinking.  

Bettors among us (you know who you are), I would take Cowboys and the points from here on out.  Although their record is 2-7 they are NOT a 2-7 team, and should play with a renewed sense of purpose the rest of the year. The pressure is off (they aren't making the playoffs), they have a new coach, Dez Bryant is now officially starting, Felix Jones in now officially the starting RB, etc etc.  The way the Colts have been playing and with their injuries, I'd take Cowboys and the points vs the Colts, vs the Saints, and vs the Eagles and Redskins (although the last two the Cowboys may be favored since they are home games...even though the Boys have stunk it up at home this year)
