Thats exactly what I guessed, its a square inch (  possibly) of land for £30 and the see of the title after your actual name. Good money if you get it, and maybe worth a laugh for £30 down the pub with your mates.

Just a personal observation, but as with DF, some people reach a level of contribution to the industry where, when they post people want to listen. For that reason, I think the DF threads for notable members is a useful thing. It keeps business posts in one place, but it also keeps a chunk of the ramblings of those members in one place, and in that dialogue are some of the creative gems and persoanl witticisms.

I'd like to think there is some of who EGG was, preserved within the Zagyg's Wisdom thread, and if that is the case, that is also why some people should have their own threads.

right guys...book question for those with some decent knowledge of novels over the years.

i had a woman in the shop today on an off-chance that i would know this novel (yeah right do i look like gandalf)

here was her description:

novel is over 40 years old (she read it when she was very young) and is a sort of kids novel - i am assuming a sort-of teen-ish level one.

"it takes place in a world/forest where humans are looked on as the animals and the animals take the place of humans. the king of the land is a wolf"

and no, it isnt narnia, neither a brian jacques novel (not old enough) or planet of the apes either....

any ideas?
